International Fuelcellbus Collaborative


Two articulated APTS buses arrived in Cologne in Spring 2011 to begin regular service that fall.  This project is possible through a German-Dutch partnership with two sister APTS fuel cell buses operating in Amsterdam during the same period.  The project is a CHIC:Phase 0 partner and will share operational data as part of the effort.  

RVK also began operating two Van Hool buses alongside the APTS buses in April 2014.

Demonstration Status

The APTS buses were delivered in Spring 2011, were tested on route and entered regular service in fall 2011. Two Van Hool buses also began operation in April 2014.
