International Fuelcellbus Collaborative

CHIC Phase 1: Milan

Within this project, the local transit authority, ATM, and the Lombardy Region are partnered with CHIC to supply the city of Milan with a fleet of 3 hydrogen buses starting in 2011. The first bus arrived in December 2011. The next two arrived in February 2012 and all three should be in full service by Summer 2012. The new San Donato ATM depot includes hydrogen production for the new buses and opened in May 2011.

Demonstration Status
