CHIC Phase 1: Bolzano

As a CHIC Phase 1 city, Bolzano will operate 5 Daimler Evobus fuel cell buses for 5 years.  Bolzano plans to operate the buses in the traffic limited UNESCO world heritage area, Seiser Alm.

H2 Fueling Infrastructure

A new renewable production plant and hydrogen station will begin operations in late 2013.  The production plant will userenewable hydro-power to produce hydrogen via electrolysis. Financial support for the production plant and is received from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
